Hey you, yes you. I know everything is rough right now, whether it is your grades slipping, having to go through a bad break-up, losing someone that was close to you, or even fighting a battle that is life or death. Whatever you are going through just know this, it gets better.

What you are going through right now is a difficult time in your life. You're probably thinking when is it going to end? Is it going to get better? The answer is it will end soon, and it will get better.

I may not know you, but I know a few things. You're a fantastic person who is going through a rough time in your life. Right now you feel like you're drowning with no hope of ever going back to the surface. Keep holding on to the belief that it gets better because it does, don't give up, you are worth it!

If you're going through a bad break-up, know that there is someone better for you out there. It may take some time, but it will happen.

If you lost someone who was very close to your heart, know that they are there with you in spirit and no matter where they are, I know that they are proud of you and they still cheer you on no matter what happens.

If you're going through a battle that will determine a significant part of your life. Don't give up, just know that you will have to fight hard, but you will win the fight! Just keep on pushing and don't lose hope, there will be downfalls in the battle. Let that inspire you to keep fighting even harder.

If you're going through any other rough patch in your life, don't give up and keep on fighting.

The world may be cruel, but you will play a significant part in making the world kind again.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
