To The Man I Will Marry

Hey Sweetheart,

I just want to start off by saying that you're amazing. You're the perfect package. You're my best friend and half of my heart all in one. Ever since I met you, things have just seemed right. Though this might seem cliche, I found my missing piece the moment that you walked into my life.

Right away, we just seemed to click. We went on two dates, and then the next thing I knew you were introducing me to your friends as your girlfriend. Here we are now, almost three and a half years later, and I get happier and happier every single day.

I love the way that you get excited over things that I have no interest in, but you can't resist telling me all about them. I love the look you get in your eyes and the smile that takes over your face when the Jets win or Tom Brady gets sacked. I love how hardworking you are. I know that the long days at work aren't something you enjoy, but you know they're worth it so that we can do things.

When I think about you, I think about the first time that we told one another that we loved each other and how from that moment on we never looked back. I think about how all I see in my future is you and our not-so-perfect yet perfect little life. I still get butterflies in my stomach when you kiss me.

I want you to know that I plan to love you for the rest of my life. I promise to stick around through the inevitable arguments, rough patches and moments of doubt. I promise to love you even on the days when I hate you. I promise that no matter what happens in life, I will be your constant as long as you are mine.

I know that sometimes I'm a little difficult to handle, to say the least. I have my moods, and I get in slumps; don't take it personally. Sometimes, I can't even handle myself.

I'm so thankful for you. I'm thankful that you are there for me on my best days, but more importantly I'm thankful that you are there for me on my worst days. I'm thankful that you don't throw your hands up and back out.

I love you to the ends of the earth, and I don't ever want you to forget it. Even on your worst days, I will love you.

Love always,

Me

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
