There are these two people I know that keep talking each other up on Facebook groups and group chats to whoever might be reading, and at first I thought, "Wow, that's really annoying." My second was, "Holy crap, they're us."
I mean, not exactly, because they don't do everything we do (that would be weird), but they are continually encouraging each other to go after what they want in life and letting everyone know that. "So and so is the best choice for this position" and complimenting them and stuff like that.
It led me to think, is it really that different from when I asked the host of the Metro Awards to give you a shoutout on Twitter because you didn't receive any and you deserved to?
Thank you for giving me so much confidence. In the time I've known you, I think I've been the most confident I've ever been in my life.
Thank you for always believing in me even when I didn't believe in me.
Thanks for helping me pick out a prom hairstyle that upset my mom the least but still expressed the look I was going for.
Also, thank you for somewhat inspiring my first article on here. If you ever go up in flames, I either go up with you, make an even more powerful fire, or destroy whoever started it in the first place. Or all three at the same time.
Seeing the way you treat others, even the ones who haven't always respected you the way they should, with kindness and consideration, is such an inspiration.
You make me a better person. I know that a really popular saying is "My friend is going straight to hell and dragging me with them," but when I do get up there, I'll be sure to bribe or blackmail someone to sneak you in too.
You make me feel like I deserve, and am totally capable of achieving, anything and everything I want in life.
And if I have made even a fraction of an impact on you what you had on me, it would be an honor.
