A Letter To My Younger Siblings
Chelsey Withers

Dear Sisters,

Before I begin let me just start off by saying I love you more than you will ever realize. You are the best blessings in my life.

Because of you I strive to be a better person. I work as hard as I possibly can to be the best role model I can be for you, but little do you know I learn so much from you. As much as I accomplish, I owe it to you both. Even though you are younger, you influence me. You influence me to be a better person, to work harder and to be proud. The qualities you both posses I try to find in myself.

You have always been there for me and have seen me succeed and fail, and have been there for me either way. I have had the privilege and honor to watch you grow up to be incredible people. Whether we were young kids chasing each other around the house and giving mom and dad headaches, getting into our fights or jus having heart to hearts I wouldn’t change any memory.

The longer I am away at school the more realize how much I miss home, but most importantly how much I miss the two of you. No matter what if it was a high school dance, a competition or a basketball game, I wish I could’ve been there to see you. When I do get to hear about whatever event occurred the two of you never fail to make me smile or laugh.

There is never a dull moment and that is a blessing in itself. There is nothing better than watching the two of you succeed and be happy, which in my opinion is every eldest child’s favorite thing. I know I have made mistakes down the road and I hope the two of you have learned from it, which so far it seems like you have.

Therefore, THANK YOU. Thank you for being my best friends. Thank you for dealing with me through my accomplishments and my mistakes. Thank you for never failing to make me laugh. Thank you for letting me have the privilege of watching you grow up. But most importantly thank you for making me an extremely proud big sister.

I love you both to the moon and back.

Xoxo

Your Big Sister

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
