My loves,

As much as I want to tell you how dark and twisted this world is, I honestly can't. This world is better with you in it. It is brighter, it is filled with more joy, more laughter, more hugs, and many more Eskimo kisses.

When I was younger I would imagine what my life would look like with kiddos running around in bare feet and next to no clothes. Now I don't have to imagine it. I don't have to imagine what it's like to watch a cannonball contest five hundred times in a row.

You have filled my life with brightness and joy that I never thought could be there. Laughter that I never thought I'd be able to experience. Memories, I would never give up.

People always say that the best part about nieces and nephews is that you give them back, but in this family that you get to grow up in the best part is we don't have to give you back. You are always there when I call your mommas and you are always going to squeeze me tight when I walk into the room. You're always going to tell me you love me and when I say I'll give you a million dollars for one kiss you always do, even though you know you'll never get a million dollars.

I pray that your life is always filled with joy and surprises. I hope that you get over excited about every single gift you get and that you always are grateful for the things you have. I pray that as you grow up you always remember what it is like to be a kid. I pray that you always dance to your favorite songs and get excited everytime your Papa does a magic trick.

Life is going to throw you curveballs, but I promise I am here for every single one of them. We all are. Each of you are the lights of this whole family and I hope that when things get confusing you know that you are always wanted. Not just wanted but needed. You are needed in our lives and in this world.

You don't need to know about how dark and twisted this world is because if anyone can make this world beautiful it is all of you. Teach people how to laugh, how to love, how to smile. Teach people that gratitude goes such a long way and that joy is something that can never be replaced.

Love more. Do more. Be more.

Love always,

Your aunt.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
