Your Ride-or-die best friend is the friend you lean on no matter what. She's the one you can call at 3 am and say "let's go to Nashville tomorrow" and it happens. She is your best advice giver, your partner in crime, your voice of reason, and your better half.

1. You guys like the same stuff, and if you're blessed like I was you will even have the same name

It's important to have similar interests in any relationship, but your Ride-or-Die will basically be yourself in another form. If you have matching clothes, it takes the "what are we wearing today?" game to a whole new level.

2. 95% of the stories you'll tell your kids one day involve them

College is where some amazing memories are made. I have some of the best memories of my life during my college times, and adventures with her.

3. You experience your first serious heartbreak together

It's a time where all you want is your best friend, Greater's Ice Cream, and many hours of The Office.

4. She's your "yes" man

I know I can count on my best friend to be my plus one. If I need a date for a wedding, a concert, or someone to tag along shopping she will always say "yes".

5. She's your adventure buddy

Anna and I have had countless adventures. A ride-or-die is the one you can text at 3 am and say "Let's go to Nashville tomorrow" and the next morning she's in your driveway with Starbucks in hand and a full tank of gas.

6. She is your voice of reason

For as many times as you two have had some crazy nights, she is also the best advice giver and will definitely talk you out of straight across bangs or going to that party. She has your back and looks out for you.

7.Vacations. All the Vacations.

Even though I have a boyfriend, I always ask if Anna can come on vacation with me. She's my adventurous half, and I know that even if we were going to the middle of nowhere for a family vacay, she'd pack a suitcase and make it super fun.

8. She's your own personal photographer

She'll help you get the perfect pic for Instagram! Whether it's a picture of you or one of you and your guy, she'll hook you up. Who needs a selfie stick?!

9. She will judge your boyfriend and have a "chat" with him.

When a new man comes into your life, that means your ride-or-die will have to share you. So they'll make sure this guy passes the test! She won't let just anyone call her bestie theirs, so it's a must that he passes her test!

10. You have codes, secret languages, and eye-contact that takes place for conversation.

Your ride-or-die has been through a lot with you and therefore they can tell when you want out of a situation. All you need is a look or to say "2013 Harry Styles" and she knows exactly what to do.

11. She helps you grow in your faith.

For as much fun as a ride-or-die and you have, she also will support you in your walk with God. Whether you do a Bible study together or reach out with some scripture during a tough time, a ride-or-die will make sure you are your best YOU the same way you do for her.

12. She knows all your deepest secrets and will never judge you.

Telling your ROD a secret is easy- you know she'll take it to the grave! She'll support you and never judge you.

13. You know she'll be in your life forever, and there is no bond as special as a ride-or-die.

This is a special bond! Enjoy your time together and make memories- you'll need stories to tell your kids and their ROD one day.

I have so much to thank my ride-or-die for. She's forgiving, supportive, adventurous, helpful, and the better half of me. To many more years of Anna squared- Happy 22nd! I love you.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
