To my pledge class,
It’s hard to believe I’ve only known you girls for such a short time. It feels like y’all have been in my life forever. Sometimes I wonder how I got through life without my phone constantly buzzing from our group text. There are several things I want to thank y’all for, but I’ll only say the most important ones.
The Laughs. It’s the funny pictures we all send in the group-me and the telling of stories of a night out gone wrong. Between all of us, it’s now a rare moment when I’m not laughing at it least all of us.
The Memories. What would half of my college experience without all the fun I’ve had with all of you? From Bid-day, to random dinners, to dancing around a fraternity house until 2 am, you girls have made some of my most memorable college experiences.
The Guidance. “Where’s this building?” “Should I get this dress for formal?” “Can someone tutor me in algebra?” “Y’all should I drop this class?” “Will y’all still be my friend if I marry pizza?” Thank you for answering everyone of my questions, no matter if they range from school or just plain weird.
Most importantly, the support. We can’t control the ups and downs of life. I’m thankful for people who are there for both. Thanks for cheers when something is going great and being the shoulder to lean on when nothing seems to be going right.
My life is never dull with all of you around. When people say, “From the outside looking in you can never understand it. From the inside out you can never explain it.” It’s not just a clichéd quote, it’s the truth. It’s something I didn’t understand until I joined a sorioty and formed the bond I have with all of you. I love you all so much.
