To My Grandparents

There is not anything like a grandparents love.

To My Grandparents

Dear Nana and Pa,

There are no words in this world to describe how much I love you both.

From the time I was born, my grandparents have shown me unconditional love. They have spoiled me rotten. My brother and I always came first in their lives.

When I was little, I spent almost every summer over at their house. I made so many memories there. From playing rummy with my Nana to playing out in the yard with my Pa, I loved going over to their house. Not only did I spend most of my summers there, I also was over there every afternoon after school. They would pick my brother and me up, feed us of course, and my Nana would help us with our homework.

My Nana and Pa have never let me or my brother go without. They have always been there. They were at every dance recital, every award ceremony, everything.

I'm so grateful for these two people. They are such a blessing in my life. They are two of the kindest most, loving people. They inspire me so much. They push me to do my best.

As they get older, I cherish the time I spend with them more. I know they won't be here forever, even though I wish they would be. They've taught me so much throughout my life and I wouldn't be the woman I am today without them.

So thank you.

Thank you for raising me right. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for always putting me before yourselves. Thank you for teaching me so many life lessons. Thank you for cooking home-cooked meals. Thank you for taking care of me. Thank you for all of the memories. Thank you for being the greatest grandparents.

I could go on and on about how much I love you both and how grateful I am for y'all. There is not anything like a grandparents love.

As I've gotten older, I don't get to see them as much as I used to. I don't get to spend as much time with them. However, they know I still love them and still care about them. Life gets busy sometimes and they understand that.

When I do go and visit, I can always expect lots of love and food.

Once again, I love you both so much and thank you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
