Hey Momma,
I don't think there are enough words in the English language to convey how thankful I am to have you as my mom. You are kind, strong, and beautiful inside and out, as well as the perfect role model for me. I admire you in more ways than one, and I hope that one day I can be a great mom to my kids like you have been to me.
I truly can see how I am your daughter in more ways than one. I have your passion. Your kind heart for all people. A little bit of your stubbornness. I have your physique. Dad even says that we're so alike that that's why sometimes we tend to butt heads. I am a lot like you in a lot of ways. I can't thank you enough for how you've raised me, especially because I have been so blessed to be so cared about.
Thank you for always bringing me the things I forget at home. Thank you for taking me to get my nails done on bad days and making mashed potatoes every time I leave for college. Thank you for all the retail therapy trips and the times you have taken my friends and me on trips. Thank you for always listening to my countless rants and always having my best interest in mind. Thank you for constantly letting me take your car and listening to the music I love to jam to but you aren't that huge of a fan of. Thank you for unending support, advice, hugs, and love. I know I wouldn't be the person I am today without you by my side to guide me.
I know that your momma bear instincts can take over when you feel that one of us is in harm's way, and I'm blessed to be cared so deeply for. I know that I may step to the wrong place, but you'll quickly set me straight when I become confused. You comfort my fears and encourage me to face them head on because you know that there is really nothing to be afraid of. You remind me consistently who I am living for on this Earth and that the amount of time I have might be limited, but it's plenty of time to make the most of every opportunity. You keep me grounded. You help make the aches and pains go away.
When I was little, you let me play doctor on you every day, no matter how annoying I may have gotten. You never got too angry when I printed a hundred copies of my check-up list. You even taught me how to hand stitch so that when I cut open a couple stuffed animals to perform surgery I could sew them back up again. You helped me reach every goal I set out to achieve. Each time I want to better myself you help me find the steps to get there. No matter how many times I might fail, it hardly seems like a failure because you can assure me until I feel better about it and get back up. Thank you for all of these things.
There is no one on Earth who loves me quite as much as you and dad do, and I'm so incredibly blessed for that. You have helped to make sure every dream and opportunity can become a reality. I can't say thank you enough, but it's truly all I can't think to say. All that's left is I love you.
I love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living your baby I'll be.
Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Your Daughter
