Hey friend,

You're almost done and it's time for you to leave the place that you called home for four years. It's hard to leave but it's such an honor to know that you've left so many footprints here. The hundreds of credits that you had to take, the amount of people you met, and the times that you laughed and cried all occurred here. The school that you were dying to get into and the people that you met all shaped you into the person that you are today. The moment that you opened up your acceptance letter and became a college student forever changed your life. It's time for you to to take those experiences and leave this place and become who you are meant to be in the crazy world around us. You're going to do such great things, and I'm so excited to watch. The best thing about leaving is you always have a place to come back to and reflect on your past experiences.

Thank you for giving me a little bit of insight about your experiences here and assisting me in making the most out of the present. We all look so far into the future at times that we don't live in the now and you've taught me to always live in the moment. Progression is nerve racking and moving on is even scarier, but it's people like you that show us how this is only the beginning of such an amazing chapter which makes us feel better in the long run. As we keep moving and growing, we change as people which makes things a little bit harder to keep up with. The impact that you've left on so many of those who are younger than you is absolutely remarkable.

When you talk to those who are struggling, you somehow always know what to say to make them feel better due to your past experiences. It's so significant to me that you've been able to show us how you've been able to overcome obstacles that we haven't seen yet and apply yourself to the max. This continuous strength shows me specifically, how important it is to never give up and keep at achieving my long term goals despite the challenges that may come my way.

Those skills are going to be taken into your personal life within the future to show that no matter what happens you'll always find a way to be successful and happy. Never lose the strength that you gained in college because it will go such a long way in the future. I am beyond proud of the person that you've become and I can't wait to see you grow and thrive in the real world. Trust me i'm so upset that you're leaving me but I am beyond excited to hear your success story.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
