To My First Valentine - even after Valentine's Day,
You were my first Valentine, which makes you the most special.
You hold a place in my heart and will forever remain in that place. I sadly cannot remember our first Valentine's spent together, but I have plenty of other Valentine's Day memories to last a lifetime.
I always enjoyed opening my thoughtful and sweet gifts you would put together for me and hide in my school lunchbox. You have always been there to cheer me up on this holiday, and I am blessed to spend the day meant to be surrounded by love with you.
Valentine's Day is all about expressing your love to people you care deeply about. I could write a novel about every little thing you have ever done for me that makes me love you unconditionally, but I shall only name a few.
My favorite thing on earth is to hear you laugh. It makes my heart jump to hear you having joy in your heart. I love your smile and how much my own resembles yours. I love how you always seem to cheer me up, even on my worst days.
I will always be thankful to have you as a key part of my life.
Love is the greatest emotion, and you have proved that to me. I have no idea where I would be in life if it was not for you. You have shaped me into the woman I am today.
You are there for me when I need you most, which is the most important quality for a Valentine to have.
I am blessed. Blessed to have remained close to you over these years. Blessed that our bond continues to grow and prosper each and every day, and will continue to. Blessed that after nineteen years, you have stayed my Valentine.
Blessed that you will forever remain my love.
This past Valentine's Day was the hardest because I could not spend it with you. Instead of being with you in person, I spoke on the phone with you. I realized how much you mean to my heart and how much I appreciate spending each holiday with you, not just Valentine's Day.
My love for you is unconditional, and will forever remain that way, as you will forever remain.
