To myself in two years,
You are graduating. You are a college grad. You are onto the real world, post fours years of undergrad college. I know you are ecstatic, nervous, unsure, but you are ready. It is normal to feel the mix of emotions you currently feel. You simply cannot believe how fast these past four years have flown by. The friends you'll never let go of, the professors who kept you going, the extracurricular activities that kept you busy and excited, it has all flown by.
Remember when you were entering college, post four years of high school? This is similar. It is a new world. A new world full of unfamiliar faces, yet excitement and people you have lived thus far without, are waiting for you.
Remember those times throughout college you were actually excited to enter the real world? Do not lose that excitement. You are a #girlboss.
Stay true to yourself. You know yourself more than anyone else. You even realized that throughout college, how well you know yourself. You realized how easy it is to get lost in this world and you even witnessed people do it, but you are strong-willed and you are unique. Stay true to your goals and values and you will be successful, as you already have been.
Do you have a job lined up for you right smack out of college? If so, great work, you deserve it. Hard work does pay off.
Are you still job seeking post-graduation? That's ok, hard work still pays off and good things take time. Relax, it will all, weirdly, but truly, work out.
Are you wondering what the future will hold? Sure you are. Everyone is. Everyone has gone through this transition point in their life from being babied during their education to being thrown out into the world to fend for themselves. And look, look how many people have surpassed that transition; you can too.
You will be successful. You already are successful. Stay true to yourself. Enjoy these next few years, you are still young. Take the days as they come.
Much love,
Your college sophomore self
