College is an awesome time in your life as well as a hard one. For many people it's the first time they are away from home or on their own. My first year at college was tough but thankfully I met some great people. These people became like family to me. I call them my college family. This a letter to them. Some people are lucky to get a few friends in college but I really lucked out and I got all of you. This going to be a letter to my main college family members.
Dear Wifey,
I was lucky enough to meet you before I started college as a senior in high school. Our first conversation involved you asking for my hand in marriage. He wasn't paying attention so you kept asking questions and that was one of them. When he said yes it instantly became a joke. A joke that we added on to and became a common thing among the rest of my college family. You are one of my best friends and I don't know what I would do without you. You make me laugh to the point I'm physically in pain on a regular basis. You are one of the smartest and sweetest people I've ever met. You are always there with encouraging words if I need them or a hug. I love hearing about your day or you texting me funny pictures because they relate to a inside joke. I wouldn't want to have fake kids with anyone or hold up the salad bar line talking to anyone else either.
Love
Your Wife
Dear "Mommy",
You are only a month older than me but you are one of my many "moms". You are one of my closest friends and we spend an awful lot of time together since we have the same major. I'm sorry I made us take woody plants because that class sucked. I know you don't do mushy so I will save it for your birthday.
Love,
Your Oldest Daughter
Dear Mandy and Ellie,
You guys are very patient. Sometimes I wonder how you still found the energy to deal with me last year. You guys are also some of the most kind-hearted people I know. I don't know what I would've done without you last year. You guys are the best!
Love,
Jasmine
Dear Jessi,
What can I say about you? You are the most positive person I know! You can turn my day around with just one bear hug. You are more than a friend. You are a sister and I love you like one. I'm so happy we became so close and that we have the power to drive "mommy" nuts when you have too much sugar and get hyper. You have one of the biggest hearts and care about everyone. I hope you are able to spread the positivity you have to your future students. I hope I find a guy one day who loves me as much as you love cottage cheese or Scooby-Doo!
Love ya sista!
Jasmine
