To My Roommate Bailey,

I'm so glad we're roommates this year. Signing for our apartment was kind of a last minute decision last year, but I'm glad we did it. While you may (somehow) be three years older than me, I'd say we get along pretty well. You're also like the sister I never had. We are sorority sisters, so that's part of it, but you're also like the sister I never had at home.

I love the rants we have, whether it be stopping in each other's room to talk about one thing and it turns into ten, or when we have to discuss the life problems that we're dealing with. We can relate to a lot and always have each other's back. We're there with advice when needed and there for each other when we're sad about whatever we're dealing with. We know we both sometimes need our space, but we also know when to try to cheer each other up.

We cover for each other when needed and are always joking around about things. I love our little food runs or store trips. Shopping together for approximately three things turns into buying several things at multiple stores and spending way too much money. We'll plan on going to one store for those three things and end up spending like three hours instead, going to every store that might have some cute stuff that we "need" or some sales going on. I also love how we both decide to stress-clean or reorganize stuff, but we're really just procrastinating on our homework half the time.

I'm sad we won't be roommates next year, but I'm sure you'll be over at my house all the time and I'm sure I'll be stopping over your apartment a lot too. I'm excited about all the fun we're still going to have next year, and I knowwe'll still be having rants about all kinds of things and texting each other about the most random stuff. I can't wait to see all the things we accomplish. I'm so glad we met through recruitment and our sorority and became roomies!

Love your roomie,

Julia

P.S. Thanks for letting me borrow clothes and shoes all the time too. I'm probably going to keep borrowing them next year even though your closet won't be as close haha.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
