You know who you guys are,

First of all let me say thank you so very much for supporting my decision to not go to college 30 minutes away from home. It was a really hard decision leaving you guys but your constant texts and spontaneous phone calls show how much you guys rock and that you guys didn't forget about me. Thank you for always giving me full reports on what you guys did last weekend so I can feel like I was a part of the shenanigans. It never fails to warm my heart that whenever I'm back home that we always have plans to hang out with each other because I value our friendship greatly.

It's inevitable that I am going to make new friends and have a new group of friends of college. Just because my Instagram feed is filled with group pictures with people that aren't you guys doesn't mean that I have forgotten about you guys. I also know that you guys are going to make new friends and I hope that I can one day meet those amazing new friends. I also know that with all of us doing different things and that we might get too busy to respond in the group chat or that we get a little distant from each other. We are all getting older and starting new lives and we are going to get busy but knowing that I can call you guys and you will answer on the first ring is why our friendship is so strong. Thank you for supporting my decision to join a sorority and for not making fun of me for always wearing letters and posting a billion pictures of my big and I.

We shared tons of memories over the years and some good but unfortunately some were bad. Thank you for the good times because I can look at my wall at our pictures and a smile never fails to run across my face because you guys taught me the meaning of friendship. You guys might not know but you guys are the people that shaped me into the person that I am today. Y'all taught me to be fearless and to not care about what other people thought. You guys helped me to be headstrong, compassionate and adventurous. Thank you for also teaching me how to unconditionally love and accept someone in the same way that you guys unconditionally love and support me. Lastly, thank you for dragging me to all the high school football games, dances, etc. because you guys brought out the sense of fun in me which I'm forever grateful for.

Even though we all didn't go the traditional route after high school, I want you guys to know that whatever you guys choose to do, you have my support always. Just as you guys supported me from running for prom queen, to choosing colleges all the way to me always wearing Chacos and socks. You guys are my best friends and I am and will always be proud of you guys no matter what mistakes you make and what you choose to do later in life. Even though I am hours away, I always keep you close to my heart and our friendship will always continue to blossom. Thank you for being my best friends and I can't wait for all of our adventures when we are together back at home.

Much love.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
