The power of a new haircut is…. a powerful force. I'm one of those people who, after a while, becomes annoyed by being complacent with anything; physical appearance, education level, physical health… the list goes on. Usually, the state of my mental health was marked by what I did to my hair, by my own hands.
Yes, I learned that I shouldn't cut my bangs from a young age, but there was something about being able to make a change on the outside that made the inside feel better.
My hair is my expression, and for a lot of people it's the same way.
In my opinion, there's nothing a good haircut can't fix; just ask Brittany Spears.
She shaved her head and got help, essentially, that's what I did too… just not with a buzzer. Sometines self-care is getting a face mask and drinking water, and sometimes, it's going for a buzz-cut.
So, here's an idea: choose a haircut, any haircut, and get it. Take a chance and make a change, life is about risk and sometimes; the safe way to do that is through lobing off a section of hair.
