Dear Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Heuning Kai:
I feel like I waited for you guys to debut for ages, but it couldn't have been that long. Like many others, I loved you from the moment you were announced. Excitedly, I watched all of your Introduction Films and Teasers, I shared all of your concept photos, I read theories about who would be rappers and who would be vocalists. This preemptive excitement was entirely new to me.
I'm still new to exploring the vast universe of K-pop. I wasn't around to support BTS when they debuted; I just started to love Astro about a month before they celebrated their third anniversary. Of course, I now love all their songs. I've caught up on all the inside jokes. I might not have been here since the beginning, but I have become a devoted fan anyway.
But TXT is different for me— an all-new experience I cherish. I got to experience a profound curiosity when I wondered what your personalities are like, what music you would create, and how your voices sound. I think I was actually holding my breath when I watched you perform "Crown" for the first time because you were finally here.
And I wasn't disappointed. I can only imagine how hard you all worked to make a spectacular debut, and I applaud your effort. Perhaps because I have been eagerly awaiting your debut since you were announced, and because all of you are younger than me (even the oldest, Yeonjun, is a few months younger than me), I am indescribably proud of you all. I can't wait to watch you grow— I hope to see your friendships flourish; I hope your fandom thrives, and I hope all of you have the time of your lives performing for people who love you.
