Lucky. I think that is what I am feeling right now. As I sit writing down the things I am thankful for, I realize how fortunate I am that my list is so long. I have a support system, opportunity, a roof over my head, etc. I cannot even begin to express the gratitude I feel towards the loving and caring people in my life as my heart is so full. So 'tis the season for being thankful.
I am thankful for my friends, who share their laughter, kindness, and love with me. I am thankful for my mom, who has the best advice and is the best role model. I am thankful for my dad, who shows me the power of hard work and perseverance. I am thankful for my brother, who I look up to for his determination and bravery. I am thankful for my dog, who always knows how to cheer me up. I am thankful for my home with them in California.
I am thankful for friendship. I am thankful for my friends who I can count on for laughs, a shoulder to cry on, and for a good time. I am thankful for the memories I have and am continuing to make. I am thankful for time to make these memories. I am thankful for unconditional love. I am thankful for the unwavering power of kindness. I am thankful for respect. I am thankful for uncontrollable laughter.
I am thankful I wake up every morning. I am thankful for all of the opportunity I have given. I am thankful for the ability to have an education and study at Villanova. I am thankful for the ability to live and study in Copenhagen this semester. I am thankful for the ability to travel. I am thankful for the freedom to explore my passions and be myself. I am thankful for the ability to learn from my mistakes.
