In a week where we suffered yet another tragic massive loss of life, we looked to President Trump to give some much-needed reassurance that would give the victim’s families some sympathy and empathy. As usual, the president made it all about himself and in a way that was more than predictable:

For this week’s edition of: “What has gone wrong with the presidency?” reveals yet another unsurprising bombshell of a story, even by Trump standards. You’d think not only a president but a father of children would show some respect for the grieving families that just lost children in the wake of the Parkland High School shooting last week. Of course, Trump did the complete opposite in a tweet he sent blaming the FBI putting in too much time to the Russian Investigation to follow-up on the tip they received on Cruz.

Yes, he has gone full Alex Jones. It’s only a matter of time before he denies that this shooting happened. Given this administration’s penchant for alternative facts, they would deny a school tragedy happening as much as they’d accept a school tragedy that never happened.

Predictably, there has been no evidence that they missed the Nikolas Cruz tip because of the Russian Collusion investigation. This would be like former president Bill Clinton blaming the FBI for spending too much time investigating the Monica Lewinsky scandal to follow up on tips regarding Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.

Digging the hole much deeper, he then blamed Democratic leadership under the first two years of the Obama administration for alleged inaction on the issue of guns, when they had the White House and both branches of Congress. If you’d recall, when that was the case, they were busy TRYING TO BRING THIS COUNTRY BACK FROM THE PRECIPICE OF A DEPRESSION. They also were working on the Affordable Care Act, which Trump himself is actively trying to rescind. That same act that would provide for better mental healthcare. Better mental healthcare which would have done a lot more than “thoughts and prayers.”

It’s called priorities, Trump.

Between Trump’s consistent disrespect, blame-deflecting, and thoughts and prayers, all the rest of us can say is:

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
