If you haven't seen "Bob's Burgers," then you need to. If you already watch it, then extra brownie points. But the reason I love this show much is just how well I can relate to some characters. So here are some freshman tips told by "Bob's Burgers"!

1. You will be confused. Either on where you are or just not understanding any classes. You are not alone, my friend.

2. You will be stressed. This will seem to fall apart. You will have to write papers. You are not alone.

3. Your friends are there for you, it's okay to vent and complain. Sometimes you might just need a break.

4. You won't always stay friends with the first people you meet. There might be arguments and falling outs, but it's a part of growing.

5. You will be constantly changing so keep your mind open. When you come home you'll feel a little odd.

6. Get as much sleep as you can and drink water. Your physical and mental health are important.

I've learned a lot about college in the first year, and so far it has been amazing! It went by very fast, but I'm ready for summer.

It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
