Throughout the years, putting women and girls down has been a big thing. Now, using the words such as “slut”, “bitch," and other very repulsive things is the norm. It really shouldn’t be. Calling a woman those names can tear her down. Why is it that we are tearing each other down when we need to build each other up?
Just because a girl sleeps with multiple people, it doesn’t make her anything. She is just living her life the way she wants too. Making someone feel bad for what they have done or how they are, isn’t something that should even be a thing.
I grew up in a home where you treat people the way you would want to be treated. I was taught to be kind to everyone and to spread love and positivity.
When I see someone getting treated so poorly, like they aren’t even a person, and someone talking about them in a very rude way, I hurt for that person. If it's something that can hurt someone that it isn’t even about, imagine how that person feels.
I still can’t figure it out: why people feel like they are strong and have the power to put someone else down.
Girls could wear something revealing and still get called a slut. What that girl is wearing isn’t and shouldn’t being affecting you in any way. So, if it doesn’t affect you, why are you putting her down to make her feel lower? Let her wear what she feels comfortable in, what she thinks she looks good in.
What gives anyone that right to make her feel like she isn’t good enough and that she looks easy? Or, that she looks bad and to tear her down. It isn’t something that anyone should do. I think we should love one another, make each other feel beautiful, and inspire each other.
