Due to publicity reasons, I was asked to leave this information disclosed for a period of time. However, now that enough time has officially passed, I am too excited to share with you an experience I had the privilege of having! Not only did I have the opportunity to go to my favorite place on this Earth, Disney World, but I also got to do it with my favorite TV personality, Ellen DeGeneres.
I know what you all may be thinking, yeah right! This girl is crazy and a liar. But I have picture evidence to prove the ruckus Ellen and I caused… I mean… it was mainly Ellen, but I take credit too because I invited her… It was real, and it was fun. But mainly it was real fun-ny. Enjoy the tales to come with the proof of it all to show from this memorable vacay!
Showing up for our first day was filled with the type of excitement that a child gets when they see Santa for the first time. However, I learned that there was never a dull moment with this incredibly entertaining woman that I asked to tag along, as you can tell just by how the first day went when I asked for someone to take my picture at our hotel. Photobomb central, am I right?
We literally could not take Ellen anywhere, though, because she was all about getting involved. In this instance… A little too involved! One minute we find our seats for Beauty and the Beast and the next I turn my head to find her on stage with a tamborine.
Does any parts of the music from Beauty and the Beast call for a tamborine?? Let’s just be glad nobody called for security… It may have been because she was Ellen and everyone loves her to pieces. I know if I was up there I would have gotten ripped off the stage faster than you can say SECURITY!
We did take a lot of selfies, though! This one was my favorites, even though there was some time of interference or smudge over Ellen it is still one to frame!! That day we decided to match and both wear white. Except, she didn’t get the memo about the circle sunglasses…
Man, this one was a hard one to get. I kept telling her to put her Oscar, that she stole from the year she hosted, away for the photo but she just wasn’t having it, clearly. After five minutes of arguing we just took the dang thing and this is now what we have. But hey what works for Ellen, will have to work for me!
And of course, the queen of selfies herself almost got kicked out of her own attraction! Yes, you heard right. She was taking a selfie with herself and almost had to be escorted out for using the front-facing camera flash. Remember and take this from Ellen, everybody. NO. FLASH. PHOTOGRAPHY. I just thought it was perfect that they were ironically matching.
And lastly, this is when I learned Ellen didn’t like rides… I just felt bad we learned it the hard way, but man did it make for the perfect picture. If she couldn’t handle little ole Splash Mountain, who knows what would happen on the opposite, Space Mountain. Note to self, never force Ellen on a rollercoaster EVER again.
I guess its safe to say, that we both had a blast! But, next time I invite her to a vacay, I may need to lay down some ground rules: no awards, no rollercoasters, and no flash photography. Hope you enjoyed my fun and exciting experiences with Ellen Degeneres at the most magical place on this Earth!
P.S. Not that these photos are made up or fake... but if they were... I embedded the links to the photos I would have used to make them happen. But, I didn't because these are 100% real.
