The Thoughts You Never Seem To Forget About Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is either someone's favorite holiday or someone's least favorite holiday. There really is no in between. If you're like me, I eat steak and mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving. Yes, I know, am I even American? But Thanksgiving is a holiday that comes with friends, family, and many conversations with your family that you either are excited for or are completely dreading. Thats for you to decide. There are many thoughts that people have during Thanksgiving that seem to be just about accurate for everyone.

1. There is so much food, how am I supposed to eat all of this?

2. Am I at the kids table again or can I finally sit with the adults?

3. That awkward moment when you don't know if you've met someone or not before so you say "Nice to meet you"

4. The competition of how many slices of pie you are going to have before you blow up?

5. Are all families this crazy?

6. My diet starts tomorrow *Eats turkey again for dinner*.

7. Having every family member ask you "Are you seeing anyone" No, No, and No

8. "How's school? Do you like it? Are you having fun? What are you majoring in?" All questions that you answered so many times that you've memorized your answers

9. Is it time to put the Christmas tree up yet?

10. I am never eating again!! Only 365 more days 'till the next Thanksgiving!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
