1. It’ll only take me ten minutes Living on the shore you know exactly how long it will take you to get to wherever it is you need to go.

2. Why is this light so long? It is never this long. At the most you are sitting there for three minutes. It’s been ten minutes and counting. What is going on?

3. Where are these people coming from? There are way too many cars, boats and RVs. There’s not that many people that live here. Where are these outsiders coming from?

4. Where are they going? Where are these cars, boats and RVs going? Where are they all going at the same exact time while I’m at this light?

5. Is this light going to turn green now or? I’ve been sitting at this light for fifteen minutes. When are you going to turn green?! Are you going to stay red forever? Should I have filled up my car before going on this supposedly ten minute trip?

6. OC isn’t worth it You guys are creating all this unnecessary traffic for Ocean City. It really isn’t worth it. There are plenty of beaches that are 10x cleaner and safer than Ocean City. Places where you can see your feet in the water.

7. It’s green! Oh my gosh! It’s finally green. I have never been so happy in my life to see a color.

8. Are. You. Joking. The cars in front of you CLEARLY could have made the yellow light allowing you to also make the yellow light. Now you both are stuck. At the same light. For another twenty minutes

.

9. They can’t go to any other beach? Isn’t there a closer beach near wherever you are? Like this can’t be the only beach option

10. What is that bumper sticker? Where did you even get a bumper sticker that ridiculous? I mean did you lose a bet where you actually had to put it on you vehicle? Do you have no respect for your life?

11. Why am I in the car again? The bumper sticker made me completely forget where I’m going and why I’m going. I would turn around, but it’s too late. I’m just going to follow my heart. Or text my mom to find out what it is I was doing.

12. I think it’s turning green soon The cars at the other light are going. It’s my turn next! Yes I’m going to make it

13. Not today Satan The yellow light came way too soon. I’m making it. There’s no way I’m going to be stuck here for a third time. No. Not today Satan.

14. Finally: I made it! I’m finally where I need to be. I have everything I could have ever hoped for.

15. I have to face traffic again: Crap. I have to do it all over again. I have to sit in traffic for forty minutes just to get home.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
