I think we can all agree that procrastination sucks. It really does. Life would be so much easier if we just did our tasks ahead of or on time. People would be way less stressed. Why is it that we not only procrastinate the things we don’t want to do, but also the things we enjoy? We put off reading that book we want to read or buying something we’ve wanted since forever.

Sure, it allows us to get eight hours of work done in thirty minutes, but it also takes us eight hours to do thirty minutes of work. But, I will admit, the feeling of getting a task done that you’ve been putting off is one of the best feelings in the world.

1. “Why did I do this to myself?”

2. “I really need to stop doing this.”

3. “I should have started this sooner.”

4. “If it’s not the due date, it’s not the do date.”

5. “I just need to check Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook really quick.”

6. “I’m just going to take a twenty-minute nap to wake myself up.”

7. “I’ll just start it tomorrow.”

8. “I still have two days to finish this.”

9. “Well, I’m going to turn in whatever I have, regardless of the guidelines.”

10. “I’ve been working really hard, so it's time for a Netflix break.”

11. “Just one more episode.”

12. “Or five more.”

13. “I should go to the gym.”

14. “I wonder what my friends are up to.”

15. “I’m just going to play video games for a little bit.”

16. “How is it already 2 AM?!”

17. “I need to paint my nails.”

18. “When was the last time I ate?”

19. “Why am I stressing out about this during class?”

20. “I’ll just get caught up on the weekend.”

21. "I should clean my room."

22. “Maybe I should take a walk to clear my head.”

23. “If I play really loud music, I won’t be able to hear my cries.”

24. “I should call my parents.”

25. “I’ll just wake up early and start it then.”

26. “I should get coffee.”

27. “If I sit here long enough, an idea has to come.”

28. “I need to do my laundry.”

29. “When was the last time I showered?”

30. “I wonder what my pet is doing right now.”

31. “What am I even working on?”

32. “I wonder what deals Amazon has right now.”

33. “Buzzfeed quizzes? Don’t mind if I do!”

34. “I need to charge my laptop.”

35. “But if it dies, I can’t work on [insert task], which wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen.”

36. “It’s probably not even that hard.”

37. “But that’s not going to stop me from complaining.”

38. “When is this even due?”

39. “Next time, I’m going to start this earlier than the night before.”

40. “I can’t believe I had a month to do this, and I’m still doing it the night before.”

41. “I just want to go to sleep.”

42. “Only a couple more pages.”

43. “I can’t wait for summer vacation.”

44. “I should drop this class.”

45. “When is it going to stop snowing?”

46. “I need to go shopping.”

47. “I need a new job.”

48. “This is taking longer than I thought it would.”

49. “Finally, I’m done.”

50. “Never again.”

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
