I'm getting ready to go into my third and final year at UF, and a lot of thoughts are going through my mind- some good, some bad. The last 2 years have been amazing, and three years seems just too short, but I have to move on and go to grad school, so here is what I and I'm sure many others from the class of 2017 are thinking.

1. Do I Have Everything Done?

I'm terrified that there will be a form I missed filling out or a class I forgot to take that will keep me from graduating.

2. How Is It Senior Year Again?

It feels like just yesterday I was walking across the stage for my high school diploma, and now I'm starting my final year for my Bachelor's degree.

3. I Need To Do Really Well This Year!

It's our last chance to keep our GPAs high or raise them up if they are a little low. With grad school applications and job interviews coming up, there is definitely a lot of pressure to make good grades this year.

4. There Is So Much I Haven't Done!

College offers so many new experiences, and there are many things I have wanted to do that I never got around to. I have just a year left to complete them all, such as watching the bats fly out at night or having one of my boats medal at ACRA.

5. When Are Applications Due?

For those applying to grad school, trying to figure out when to take the GRE and turn in applications can be quite stressful.

6. This Is My Last Chance To Be A Kid!

While we are adults at college, it can still be less stressful than the real world- where you have to work to pay off all the student loans. We also have all sorts of resources at our finger tips, but once we head out to the real world or even grad school, things become scarier.

7. I Can't Wait To Graduate!!!

As much as we love the school we are at, going out into the real world is the moment we have been preparing for our whole lives, and for those like me that are looking into grad schools, we are super excited to get away from prerequisites and dig further into the subjects we actually enjoy. This is our time to finally show what we are made of, and to see if we can stand on our own.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
