With all of the stress that comes from the end of the semester and finals, our minds are preoccupied with exams, grades, and plans for the upcoming summer. This leaves many other thoughts (like the last time you showered or ate a nutritious meal) to take the backseat. For my fellow Juniors, this includes the thought that we are about to enter our final year of college. Yes, it's happening and there is nothing we can do to go back in time.
Here are just a few of the thoughts and varying feelings many of us are experiencing upon realizing that senior year is finally here.
"Three years have gone by already?"
Excitement because we will finally be of legal drinking age in college.
Figuring out which "carpe diem" moments you and your friends are going to put on the senior year bucket list.
Still having no idea what you want to do with your life in the real world.
Desperately wanting to be a freshman again.
Realizing every experience you have next year is going to be your "last."
Lying to ourselves for the rest of the year.
