Thoughtful Gifts That Last

Custom gifts are an easy and popular way to commemorate an occasion or personalize a message. There is a wide variety of useful, beautiful, and humorous items that can be engraved or printed with customized message gifts that last long.

A Toy Box With A Name Is A Special Touch

Chests that have been personalized are even more special. Younger children are thrilled to have a toy box with their name on it, but if you want the gift to have that heirloom-quality feel to it, consider a monogram. Monograms are particularly popular in families where names are handed down from generation to generation. Suddenly, your toy chest becomes a family keepsake, passing from one generation to the next. A personalized toy box is a perfect gift. It's practical, functional, meaningful, and long-lasting.

Tech Gadgets

People carry their electronic devices everywhere, so why not offer a tech gift with a customized message? There are customized USB sticks and stylus pens and charms that can be engraved with names or initials. For her, there is a stylus charm for touchscreen phones and tablets that can be customized with her initials or a short message. Customized iPhone cases also come in many colors from pink to gunmetal.

Jewelry

For more long-lasting custom gifts, there is a large selection of women's jewelry. Made with 14k gold or sterling silver, there are necklaces and bracelets of hearts, flowers, butterflies, circles, keys, and tags that can be customized with names, dates, and short messages. Some of the jewelry is combined with gemstones including birthstones. Rings and earrings can be customized with names or initials.

Jewelry serves as the perfect gift because of its longevity. Unlike gifts of food, clothes, flowers, and other stuff that only last for days, weeks, or a few years, jewelry sometimes lasts for generations. Because of this a lot of people who want a memorable and long-lasting gift will not go wrong with giving jewelry. Jewelry makes the perfect gift for a lot of reasons, the primary reason being that most recipients like receiving jewelry for gifts. Whatever the reason and whatever the occasion, whoever your intended recipient is, and no matter his or her tastes, jewelry will always make the perfect gift.

Photo Album

A photo album is a brilliant gift to mark any occasion. It lasts a long time and can always be picked back up to flip through whenever the recipient feels like it. You can make up a photo album of all your times together, or of a specific moment like a vacation you took together or even something like a graduation or wedding. A photo album is a treasured gift, but also something that isn’t gifted as often as it used to be. With social media and the majority of photos being online these days, being able to view physical, high-quality prints can make a great and thoughtful gift. You just need to make sure that you put time and effort into making sure you put the right photos into the album.

T-Shirts

T-shirts are the most popular custom gift in the world. There is an infinite variety of colors, styles, and custom slogans that can be created, and they are welcomed by almost everyone. They can also be customized with favorite photographs and other graphics. T-shirts are available in long sleeves, short sleeves, and sleeveless for men and women of all sizes. They are made with organic cotton and cotton/polyester blends.

A wide variety of children's and infant's clothing is also made with T-shirt material and can be customized with names and photographs. There are organic baby bodysuits, long and short-sleeved baby T-shirts, blankets, and hoodies.

Portrait Photographs

Another way to personalize a gift is to enlarge a loved photograph and make it into a canvas portrait. It can be a favorite photo taken on a family vacation, something from a honeymoon, or photos from a selection online. This is an amazing gift for family members, especially ones who live far away. They would love a beautiful family portrait that is large and easy to see, that can be hung on the wall rather than a small photograph that is in an album and hardly ever seen.

Customized Water Bottle

As people stop carrying plastic water bottles and prefer to carry reusable bottles, the custom stainless steel or aluminum sports water bottle has become very popular. They come in several sizes for adults and children including a drinking cup for babies. This is a good gift for an outdoors person or someone who carries water wherever they go. With a customized water bottle, there will not be any mix-ups in the office or gym.

Many things can be customized with photographs including mouse pads, iPhone cases, key chains, water bottles, drinking glasses, coffee mugs, calendars, clocks, fridge magnets, pillow covers, and much more. There is also a wide array of gifts for children that can be made extra special with a customized name or message. From backpacks to storybooks, teddy bears to children's jewelry there is something for everyone. A customized gift is more than a useful object. It becomes special and significant because it brings back memories of a special occasion or a special person for years to come. A simple, inexpensive gift can become the greatest gift that lasts long in the world with a few simple words or a photograph that has meaning for the receiver.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
