Its really hard sometimes!!

You're going to work long crazy hours for not much money. It might not feel magical all the time, but the good days outweigh the bad so it will be okay!

You WILL hit a wall when you want to go home!

Might sound crazy...but you will miss home, and you will have tough days where you want to run back to what is safe and familiar, but when you finally do go home, you'll want to go running back!!

Sometimes your roommates will get under your skin

You can love the people you live with and be the best of friends, but there will still be times where you want to flip your lid at them! But you will also become extremely close with them and you'll miss the good times you spent with people that you love so much!

You'll end up taking Disney for granted sometimes...

You'll skip out on going to the parks some days because you're too tired and you can "just go tomorrow", but eventually the day comes when you can't go tomorrow and you'll regret not spending every moment you could having fun in Orlando!

You won't love you job all the time.

No matter how magical of a role you had, there are gonna be days when the guests get on your nerves, or the Florida sun is just too dang hot, or you just don't feel like going to work, but the moments when you get to create magic for guests will make the mean grouchy ones fade away from you memory!

You're going to be tired...All. The. Time.

Long days (at work or play) are a constant on the DCP...you will probably never get a full nights sleep your entire program...but the sleepless nights talking with your friends till 3AM and the late nights at work will create the best memories you could ever ask for!

You won't take enough pictures..

You can take thousands of pictures on your program, but when you leave you will still look back and wonder why you didn't take more...but the pictures you do take will make you cry months later over the people you miss and the wonderful times you had in Disney!

People you have grown to love are gonna leave before you (and its gonna suck...)

You might apply to extend your program when some of your best friends do not...which means they go home and you have to keep making magic and memories without them there..Its tough and sad and tears WILL be shed, but quickly you'll learn that those goodbyes really just are "see ya real soon's"!

Your last days at Disney will be some of your worst days at Disney...

The last few days of magic and fun will be the most bittersweet of them all. Its hard to do things for the last time and think that life will never be this way again, but you find a way to make the most of it, (Even when your bawling your eyes out surrounded by hundreds of other CP's the last time you all watch Happily Ever After as cast members.)

At the end of the day, you know it was all worth it!

The Disney College Program is the most amazing internship and can open doors for people in so many ways. Its long nights, lots of work, but also lots of magic! You will meet your best friends, make the greatest memories and your love for the Walt Disney Company will only grow in the time you spend as a Cast Member. So if you're ready for a program that will change you life in more ways than you can count apply for the DCP and get ready for the ride of you life!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
