Ah, Starbucks. I'm pretty sure it was the nectar talked about throughout Greek mythology as being the drink(s) of the gods.
As a college student, I practically live in a study room of the library, and thus drink more than my fair share of Starbucks drinks.
I recently gave up caffeinated drinks (for the most part), and could no longer feed my Starbucks affliction as well as I used to. Thankfully, my barista friend CJ let me in on his secret weapon: the Good Good.
Sweet but not overly so, non-caffeinated, fruity, and much less expensive than my usual peppermint mocha with five shots, the Good Good gave rise to an even worse addiction than I previously had. I regret none of my decisions in this aspect. It is by far the best drink I've ever received, and I strongly urge you to try it for yourself (if you're willing to let a newfound drink take over your social life.
Since this drink was created by a friend of mine and is consequently not on the menu, you'll have to order it the long way. Here's how you do it.
(please note the amounts and syrup distribution are calibrated for a Venti; sorry in advance if you want something smaller, but in all honesty you should just get a Venti because it rings up around $3.56, totally worth the best drink you'll ever have from the restaurant.)
Venti Passion Tea
Apple juice instead of water
Extra apple juice
Three pumps Raspberry syrup
Three pumps Classic syrup
Light Ice
Enjoy! (You can thank me later)
