This Week in Disney
WDWNT

Disney had a lot of announcements this week so I am going to give everyone the run down on what they may have missed. Disney is really stepping up their game since 2017 started and it looks like this year in Disney is going to be amazing.

To start off the week Disney released a brand new trailer for the Live Action Beauty and The Beast during the Golden Globes. In this trailer we get our first look at Emma Watson singing "Little Town" the opening song of the movie and we got to see some of the Be Our Guest Scene. You can watch the whole trailer by clicking on the link below.

In movie news Disney released every sing movie they will be releasing in 2017. These movies include; Beauty and The Beast out on March 17, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 out May 5, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell no Tales out May 26, Cars 3 out June 16, Spiderman: Homecoming out in July, Thor: Ragnarok our November 3, Coco Out November 22 and Star Wars Episode 8 out December 15.

Along with announcing all of the movies that will be releasing in 2017 we finally got an extended look at the Cars 3 trailer which can be seen at the link below.

In theme park news we are finally seeing testing down for Animal Kingdom's nighttime show Rivers of Light. Rivers of Light was supposed to premiere early last year but has been delayed. No one knows exactly when we will be able to experience it but we may see the opening of Pandora before we see the show. There is hope though now that they have started testing the light out.

We have also learned from the Hollywood Reporter that Disney is looking at creating a live action Dumbo movie with Will Smith. This is still in the early stages and no one knows if this is going to be an actual movie. We will just have to wait and see.

Remember the crazy $700 cabanas Disney decided to put in Magic Kingdom. Well they started by discounting the price and now they are getting rid of them completely. I am not surprised as a lot of guests complained about this.

In Rapunzel news we finally got a trailer for the new animated movie that will introduce the new Tangled animated series. In this trailer we learn how Rapunzel got all of that hair back. I am so excited for this series and I love that they kept all of the original characters but added a few also. You watch the hair raising trailer at the link below.

As we can all see Disney has been extremely busy this past week and they have a lot of amazing things coming up this year. Stay tuned for more Disney updates!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
