This is a response to For The Monday Haters.

As I write this on a Monday afternoon, I consider how busy my week may seem. But I must consider the business and how I feel and turn that around. I remind myself about the dreadful Monday of Monday’s and how I felt through school and how I feel now after graduation.

Let us all consider some of the reminders:

That you deserve to take breaks no matter how busy you may be.

Block out your schedule and make sure you work for a few hours, and add in a lunch

break or a trip to the park.

Take deep breaths and move your body if you feel overwhelmed.

Step away from the computer or your desk for a few minutes to reconsider the stress of

the moment.

Stay Hydrated.

Make sure you are drinking plenty of water throughout the day or grab a hot tea or coffee as a little pick me up.

You can get through this week!

It is ONLY Monday; you can look forward to some self-care or things other than work.

Even if today starts off horribly, it can and will turn around.

It may feel like the Monday of Monday’s, it may be hard to get out of bed, or maybe traffic was bad. Get your favorite coffee or lunch as a little pick me up.

Stop worrying about getting EVERYTHING done, this will not solve anything.

It is only Monday, you do not have to get all of your tasks done today, save some for tomorrow too.

In no particular order, I would like to demonstrate a little culture about the ways Christmas is celebrated or is not celebrated throughout five different religions.
