From his announcements via Twitter to his public speeches, Donald Trump uses the terminology of a television entertainment star. He uses Twitter as one of his main forms of communication to the world, and mostly as personal use rather than presidential.
Instead of formally addressing situations and announcements, he uses tones and mannerisms as if he is in a constant competition with everyone, even after winning the presidential election.
I actually think I have tweeted this once, in middle school.
He draws the wrong type of attention especially coming from his tweets, and Trump, in general, is “entertaining,” which as our leader should be more informing and professional.
Trump praises citizens when they do things the right (his) way.
While also bluntly criticizing them on the media when it doesn’t go his way.
Or just likes to randomly talk sh*t, and give nicknames to political opponents.
It's almost as if we are all in Manhattan currently on the 16th season of “The Apprentice,” but instead of saying “You’re Fired,” he angrily types behind a screen or speaks with improper ridicule towards the subject.
I don’t want to view my president as an entertainment star, I want to see our president as someone to rely on, and make the necessary changes without the irrelevant bashing of others in order to gain stardom.
Everyone has a right to voice their opinions, but when you are the leader of our country, maybe hold back the mocking and mimicking.
He has brought his reality TV show tactics to the White House, and he needs to focus more on his presidential tasks rather than updating his social media.
