Junior year of college is one of the weirdest years you'll have. You're no longer an underclassman, but you're not quite a senior. But for some reason, you're rushing to figure out where your life is going and how you're gonna get there. Even though you technically have two years, it just feels like two days.
Even though this year is so stressful, there are still so many things to look forward to. First of all, you most likely have some good friends that have been by your side since the start. At this point, you know who has your back and who doesn't, who would start a fight over you when you're hurt or who wouldn't even try to stick up for you in the slightest. The friendships you've made are really beautiful, and you have all of the time in the world to grow them and appreciate them.
You're also finally out of those single digit classes. The very basic levels one that they just try to weed you out, no matter the major. Or that has unnecessary assignments that you're not sure why you're up all night doing. Welcome to the 400 levels, where you like what you're learning and actually learn from the homework and don't mind doing it. Plus, these classes are so much more versatile, so you can literally pick anything to study in your field.
21 is probably right around the corner for most people. Say goodbye to terrible apartment parties where you have to worry about it getting busted or running out of alcohol. Or if you can get your boyfriend in or any friends at all. What's the point of paying a $6 cover for an apartment so small you can barely breathe and there's nothing to drink? Welcome to the bar scene, where it's still crowded but at least you're legal and can actually enjoy a night out.
Your junior year may be stressful when you're trying to balance figuring out your life with your academics and everything else. But there's a plus side to everything - and in this case a good few.
