.

1. You finish each other's sentences.

You know what the other person is going to say before they even say it.

2. You have the same sense of humor.

Sometimes in group settings, you beat each other to the punch in making jokes. And when you're looking for new shows to watch together or music to listen to, you don't have to worry about being judged for your personal tastes since you share the same niches.

3. Even if you do nothing special on the weekend, you still have fun.

You could lie around all day watching movies, reading books, or doing homework. As long as you're together, each other's company is enough to keep you satisfied.

4. You don't mind staying up super late if the other needs to talk.

3 am crises? No problem.

5. They're the first person you want to celebrate good news with...

You know they're your best friend when their name is the first to pop into your head about sharing good news with.

6. ...And the first person you go to when times are tough.

And they are also the one person whose hug you long for the most when you're sad.

7. Sometimes you annoy each other, but your love never changes.

You could get into small arguments all day, but at the end of the day, you go to sleep and wake up knowing you love one another just the same.

8. Everything is better when they're with you.

When you experience new things or do old or mundane things, you often find yourself thinking that it would be better or more fun if they were there with you.

9. You adopt each other's slang.

It's true!! I definitely did not used to say "y'all" as much until I started dating a Southern boy.

10. Your life would not be the same without them in it.

Imagining life without them seems strange and foreign and scary. They make your world a better place, and you wouldn't want that to change for anything.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
