Wanderlust, by definition, is straightforward enough - "a strong desire to travel." Though this is a rather simple statement, an individual who claims to have a case of wanderlust inhabits many of the same hopes, fascinations, and personality traits. As someone who does indeed have a strong desire to travel, I brainstormed some things that I think hold true for the people out there who want to see the world.
1. You have created detailed and lengthy lists of all the destinations you want to visit.
2. You wish that money grew on trees.
3. Whenever someone posts a vacation pic on Instagram, you feel both envy and intense longing.
4. It's your ultimate dream to be able to travel for a living.
5. You save up money that specifically goes towards travel.
6. You wish you had more time to travel.
7. You're immensely curious about the world around you.
8. You enjoying adding things onto your bucket list just as much as you like checking things off your bucket list .
9. You find studying abroad very appealing.
10. You have a lot of fun researching possible travel destinations.
11. You’ve never been more excited than in the days leading up to a big trip.
12. You think that taking a road trip is the perfect adventure.
13. You're definitely down for camping...
14. ...But wouldn't say no to a nice hotel room.
15. You find mountains breathtaking.
16. You don't mind being on the streets of a bustling city.
17. You enjoy a good beach day.
18. A trip to a museum is considered a trip worthwhile in your book.
19. You appreciate everything that nature has to offer.
20. You think it's necessary to be exposed to different cultures.
21. You go out of your way to taste the local cuisine.
