Things You Can Only Do With Your Bestie

Seriously don't try this with just a friend.

You aren't afraid to be judged, because heck they already have judged you. It's too late to go back, because they already know everything about you. So unfortunately it seems you're stuck with them.

1. Laugh at absolutely nothing together.

Literally nothing can even be funny yet, suddenly you break out in a manically fit of laughter.

2. Sing and dance terribly in the car.

It's time to roll down the windows and blast AC/DC for all to hear, oh and don't forget your lovely singing voices. The two of you show off your skills in a make shift karaoke for all to hear.

3. Go through near death experiences.

Remember that time you were laughing so hard and almost crashed?

4. Eat all the food together.

The two of you have no problem devouring anything in sight, from nachos to sandwiches to ribs. No need for napkins or eating like a lady.

5. Stay up forever and then sleep for hours on end.

Whether roomies or just having a sleepover it seems the two of you are night owls.

6. Mumble about random things.

Sometimes you just say whatever pops in your head, whether it's important or not.

7. Have deep convos late at night.

Best friends share everything from the meaning of life to fears of oblivion.

8. Call each other at 3 a.m.

Everyone needs that 3 a.m. and who are you going to call?

9. Be each other's moms.

Are you sure it's a good idea to go to that party tonight?

10. Twin.

A similar taste in clothes equals endless amount of times twinning outfits.

11. Make fun of each other and yourself at the same time.

Jokes on us, we are both crazy and weird.

12. Be super sarcastic.

Finally someone get's my sarcasm!

13. Get dressed up and go on "dates."

Dying to dress up and no boyfriend? No problem your bestie is there.

14. Talk with your eyes.

Some call it creepy, but the two of you can have a whole conversation just with your eyes.

15. Have your own super amazing language.

Sometimes you can speak plain English and others still just don't understand.

16. Literally sit in silence, yet it is still a comfortable silence.

Honestly silence doesn't even feel like silence with your bestie.

17. Tell each other everything.

That being said it can sometimes be too much.

18. Be all sides of you.

Besties can be crazy, weird, odd, happy and deranged all at once and still you accept each other.

19. Be friends, yet also be a crazy form of sibling.

Brother? Sister? Friend?

20. Anything.

Basically there is an endless amount of things that best friends can do together that any normal person or friend would find insane.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
