Ever since I joined my sorority I have wanted to be big. I can't wait to create memories and be there for you, and all the other things that come with being a big sister. You're going to learn so much from being in a sorority. You will experience so many different things and I can't wait to watch you grow through your time at college and after. But before all that, there are a few things you should know.

1. I am a busy person but never to busy for you.

I have a crazy schedule but if you need me I will always do my best to make time for you. And I hope you will do the same. If you need a girls night just let me know and a girls night you will have.

2. I am always here when you need me.

Call me. Beep me. If you wanna reach me. No, but really. If you need me call, text, smoke signal, bat signal. I don't care. I'm always here. No matter what.

3. You can do whatever you set your mind to.

You are more capable than you know. But if you need a reminder, you know where to find me.

4. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry if I ever disappoint or upset you. I was probably hungry, to be honest. Let's just always remember to hug it out.

5. I'm a little weird but hopefully, you'll like that.

There really is now hiding it or turning it down so you're going to have to deal with it. But I'm kind of hoping that you're the same way. So here's to being weird together!

6. I will always support you.

Even if I don't agree with you I will support you. I may voice my opinion and you may not like it, but I will support you. No matter what. You're my little and I love you.

7. Don't sell yourself short.

If you want to rule the world well guess what? I'll be there to help you!

8. Let yourself grow.

College is hard but it's supposed to be that way. This will help you grow, you just have to let yourself. But don't you worry I'll be there through it all.

9. Enjoy it all.

Enjoy this time. It goes by so fast. Even through the drama, stress, and hard times. Take a moment to sit back and enjoy it all.

10. Now that you're my little life will never be the same.

I mean it'll probably be pretty much the same but with more late nights of laughter, study/coffee dates, impromptu adventure, and lifelong memories.

I love you. You're my sister, my little, and in time my best friend. Here's to our new adventure.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
