We live our lives here at the University of Miami. We have the time of our lives, but we do it our own way. While everyone is unique, there are some things that just go unnoticed and that students just never get around to doing. Some academic, others social and athletic. But here are five things we as a student body don't do enough of.

1. Go to the gym. Just kidding, we go all the time. But really?

Yes, we go to lift weights. Especially us guys. But we don't spend nearly enough time doing cardio work, which is what actually makes us healthy and better-looking. Plus, how am I supposed to stay motivated if only guys are seeing me workout?

2. Eat lunch at Sandbar

This place is not just for Thursday nights, as they have a great of wings, other appetizers, and full entrées. Next time you're looking for a place to watch the game with your bros, skip b-dubs or Hooters and go to Sandbar

3. See nature on campus

Every now and then people should relax and enjoy the shade at the arboretum.

4. Get the Dining app

Not enough people have this. It is a shame when someone PostMates Olive Garden on the night the dining hall has chicken parmesan.

5. Watch the football team when they're on the road.

Obviously, we can't just be at road games cause we feel like it. But it seems like whenever there is a road game, except for the big games like FSU, there isn't a game day atmosphere on campus and people just don't get that it is still "game day." People have no idea how the game goes and I have to explain each key moment to everyone. On road game days, grab some friends, go to the rat or your favorite watering hole, have some wings and drinks and see this team win football games!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
