"Woman-hater, racist, idiot, bigot..." I'm sure all of you have seen Trumps name in headlines with these words attached, but we need to take a closer look at what he does for our country and who he is outside of the biased media. As most of you know, we have recently passed the one year mark for Donald Trumps presidency. Over the last 365 plus days, Trump has done quite a lot. Here's a list of things Trump has accomplished that most media companies refuse to cover.

1. He acknowledged Jerusalem as Israel's capital

Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama assured the United States that they would do this, but Trump is the only one that carried through. He kept his word and did what he told the people he was going to do.

2. Trump has secured economic growth

He has renegotiated trade deals, created jobs, and has pushed the stock market to improve dramatically. Trump promised to polish the economy to 4% growth and so far, several months in his presidency have seen up to 3% growth overall.

3. He admitted he was wrong about Afghanistan

Admitting you are wrong, especially as POTUS is one thing, but he then acted on it. He said "My original instinct was to pull out... But all my life, I’ve heard that decisions are much different when you sit behind the desk in the Oval Office... A hasty withdrawal would create a vacuum for terrorists."

4. He has refrained from changing the White House

Up until Obama was president, this wasn't a huge problem... but during and after Obama's time in office, the traditions in the White House seemingly changed which also had a large impact on the way society functions. I'm not saying change is bad, but I am saying the extreme amount that we have faced as a nation indefinitely abuses the Constitution.

5. Illegal immigration rates have dropped

Although the process to become a US citizen is long, it doesn't make illegal immigration right. Not only is it illegal, but it also costs United States taxpayers $134.9 billion, in turn to them coming here. Thanks to Trump, the number of immigrants illegally coming to the United States is at an all-time low.

This list consists of 5 out of hundreds of things President Donald Trump has done for the United States. Regardless of how much someone may dislike, or even hate him, these 5 things are undeniably good for the nation as a whole.
