If we've learned anything in the last 19 years, it is that the world is both predictable and unpredictable. Some wise woman once told me the most we can do is hope for the best, and prepare for the worst.
Globally, humans innovate new technologies to better handle this uncertain future faster and stronger each year. For example, we can prepare for a natural disaster with sensors but we cannot always predict the damage it may have socially and economically.
We can forecast anything, as long as we back it up with potent evidence. We can forecast weather, financial success, the newest trends, social movements, and rising rebellions easily with the help of new age technology.
Looking forward to 2020, we have a lot to be thankful for, although we also have much to fear.
