Hot girl summer is ending which means smart girl fall is right around the corner. But, we all do need our breaks and have our me time with the people we care about. Check out some things to do this fall!

Autumn is a time to get cozy under the blankets and enjoy a relaxing evening or even go on an adventure. This fall is all about doing our homework and studying to get those grades, but we also need to take time for ourselves and recollect our thoughts. This fall is the perfect time to experience new things and repeat the things you love to do with yourself or with the people who surround you. The reason fall is the perfect time to do these things are that they are seasonal and the weather is just right. Check it out and read below!

1. Going to the Pumpkin Patch

Okay.. first of all, going to a pumpkin patch is always so cute and refreshing due to the atmosphere. PLUS you can go with your significant other or friends and take some time away from the city to be with one another. You can even take cute pics!

2. Haunted Corn Maze and Houses

With pumpkin patches come corn mazes and haunted houses. Going with a group of friends or your significant other to a haunted area, especially on a chilly night means hand-holding, cuddles, comfort, but also SCREAMS. hehe.

3. Scary Movies

Scary movies with your boo is so fun and consists of cuddles, blankets, forts, and tons of hand holding. Doing a movie marathon during October is truly so exciting and keeps you on edge.

4. Hiking or Jogging

For a me-time activity I think being immersed in nature with all the beautiful scenery and colors is absolutely breath-taking and a perfect mental break.

5. Having a picnic

Picking apples on a beautiful apple orchard farm AND getting fresh, good, and tasty apples is a big win. You could go with your family, friends, significant other, or even yourself. It is never a bad idea.

Uhm, I have never met anyone who does not like apple cider--it is a CLASSIC fall drink. Also, PSL are a thing and just wow. We love seasonal drinks. Nothing more needs to be said.

8. Me Time Monday's

Do a face mask and wash your face, kick those feet up and relax. Binge that Netflix episode you want to watch. Take some time to be healthy to yourself mentally and physically and DO NOT feel guilty about it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
