This is for you, my fellow country boys and country girls. We all know what all of these on the list feel like and it's time to become aware that we are not alone in this. Here's just a few things that may happen when your go-to music artists are Little Big Town or Cole Swindell
1. Your other friends will automatically say how much they hate a song before even listening to it.
2. They don't understand that you are gone every weekend for a country concert in the summer.
The sad part is they have no idea how much fun they are missing out on by not joining you.
3. They think they have some sort of power to change the radio station in your car.
4. They get mad when you say you can't hang out on that one night of the year. It's CMA Awards night; please leave me alone with Luke Bryan.
5. Your friends will probably try to convince you that all country music sounds the same.
6. They make fun of your cowboy boots. Cowboy boots are cool. Jealousy is the greatest form of flattery.
7. They think that country is the only genre you like and will forever label you.
Real talk: Everyone needs some Beyonce in their life.
No matter what your friends think of your music taste, you just have to keep staying true to yourself and listen to all the country music you want. No time for haters over here. As Luke Bryan would say, "I am just what I am / I'm just what you see / So I'll make it easy / I'll stay me."
