Even in the small amount of time I've spent in college, there are some things I've learned that I thought I would share with everyone.
1. You get sick... really easily.
I never realized how easily I could get sick. It's the second week, and I already have a cold. Being surrounded by thousands of new people is really rough.
2. It's actually pretty easy to make friends.
There are so many people, including your roommate, people on your floor, people in your classes, and just random people you see when walking around campus; it's almost impossible not to make friends.
3. Dining hall hours are the worst.
As someone who eats at really weird times, the dining hall closing at 8 pm is super inconvenient.
4. 8 am classes still suck, believe it or not.
After having to be at school before 8 am for my whole life, you would think that in college it would be easier... it's not.
5. Not all professors want to help, but there are still a lot that do.
Some professors just want to teach the class, get out of there, and don't really care about who you are as a person. Although not all are like that, you just have to accept it,
