We all of have been there. We don't want to go to work because of various reasons. For those who are constantly in need of an excuse not to go to work, this list may help you. There may be a variety of reasons on why one doesn't want to go to work from bullies that management doesn't help with or customers/clients get on your nerves to the point of insanity. Regardless, taking breaks from work has been shown to help the body recharge and pursue healing. I don't recommend following the list consecutively for it may cause loss of job and sanity.

1. Sleep in.

2. Eat brunch with friends.

3. Go home.

4. Pet your pets.

5. Watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime, etc.

6. Write.

7. Read.

8.Look in the mirror.

9. Dislike what you see.

10. Change it.

11. Look at the changes.

12. Smile a little bit.

13. Plan a lunch date with people.

14. Realize no one is close to you.

15. Cry inside.

16. Research the current state of our society.

17. Cry outwardly.

18. Research the citizenship process of Canada.

19. Go outside.

20. Notice the flowers blooming.

21. Realize they are fake flowers.

22. Admire the flowers.

23. Take photos of flowers with cell phone.

24. Look at houses.

25. Think about mortgages.

26. Start to research quotes online.

27.Realize you need your job to own a house.

28. Turn off your phone.

29. Walk around the neighborhood.

30. Pet dogs as they pass by.

31.Think about adopting dogs.

32. Research dogs from the local dog shelter.

33. Fall in love with the doggo's face.

34. Get in the car.

35. Look at your gas tank and sigh.

A list along these lines is meant to inspire creativity and wellness because we all need to recharge sometimes. I am sure that you can find other things to do instead of going to work, but for those who need more creativity....you're welcome.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
