In 2 short weeks you will all be putting on your cap and gown and strutting across that stage. After you throw your hats we will officially be the seniors on this campus. We like to joke about wishing you good luck adulting, but we are going to miss having you around more than you know. Here are all the things about not having you here.
1. Seeing you out
Even though we might not spend as much time with you as we wish, it is always a pleasant surprise to see you out. You never fail to be out at pre-games and bars, especially in these last few weeks of school.
2. Having your help when it comes to class and teacher recommendations
Who are we going to ask about classes and professors? You have helped form our class schedule for the last 3 years and now you are leaving us on our own. Don't be surprised if we randomly text you asking about an assignment or project.
3. Always recommending the best brunch and happy hour spots
Since you've been here a year longer than us, you always know the best spots in Fort Worth. You always suggest the best places to take our parents or new places when we want to try something different.
4. Having you at sorority events
We just had our last event and chapter with you all. It's going to be sad without you at all of those functions. We aren't ready to be the oldest girls in the chapter. We aren't ready to be the strict girls during recruitment. We aren't ready to be referred to as senior, but we are ready for the senior privileges.
So seniors, enjoy your last few days as college students. Thank you for always being there for us. Thank you for teaching us how to survive college. Thank you for being great role models and not always the best influence. Don't become too much of a real adult yet. TCU won't be the same without you all and I expect to see you all back for our first home football game in the fall.
