You finally made it! Congrats, another semester down. Now sit back, relax and read.

1. Hibernate for a good 10 years.

Maybe that was a little exaggerated but hey, this semester was tough, and you deserve it. I mean you're back in your own bed and you now have all the time in the world to just sleep. So go ahead, doze off and sleep in.

2. Go Some Place Warm

Florida, Cancun, the bathroom with the shower heat turned all the way on. We all find our own ways to get someplace warm during Winter break. Otherwise, you'll see the countless "Wish I were at (insert warm place) instead of (insert cold place)" Instagram posts this holiday season.

3. Start 1, or 2, or 3 shows on Netflix.

I mean our breaks are about a month long, what better way to spend it than to binge on a couple shows on Netflix? You have no obligations anyways, so why not?

4. Spend time with ya old homies back home.

For a little bit about this, feel free to check out this article in the hyperlink.

5. Finally get to chillax after a long semester.

Its been a while since you've been able to just relax without feeling guilty about not studying. So enjoy, cause we all know that second semester is just around the corner.

Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
