It is winter again, and you know what that means! Snow! As we get older, we enjoy looking at the beautiful sight of snow, but it seems even harder for us not to be bored when we are stuck in our houses for a snow day or two. When we were kids we were able to play in the snow for hours and hours, and sometimes even all day. However, as we get older, we have to find additional ways to amuse ourselves during a snow day. Whether you plan on being productive, you want to have a lazy day or you want to go out in the snow, here are 10 things you can do if you are stuck at home for a snow day!


1. Read books

Curl up with a blanket by the fire, drink hot cocoa or coffee and read a book.

2. Watch movies

Pop some popcorn and have a movie marathon with your family or friends.

3. Binge watch a T.V. show on Netflix

No one is judging you, it is a snow day, so you have an excuse to watch as many episodes of your favorite T.V. show as you want.

4. Do a puzzle

Don't get puzzled, here is something you can do!

5. Color in a coloring book

Yes adults can color too, and its a great way to relax and take a break from your hectic life!

6. Clean, straighten or reorganize your room

Be productive and make your room livable again.

7. Go sledding

Grownups can go sledding too!

8. Make snow angels

Go embrace your inner child and make a snow angel!

9. Build a snowman

Do you want to build a snowman?!

10. Play in the snow with your dog(s)

Our furry friends love the snow too, and it will bring you joy when you see your puppy having snow much fun!
