The Change

Those who are branded with a bad name. They'll go years in their life, feeling so much shame. All because they wanted to be themselves. However; everyone else, well that's a different story. They all wish to live in fame & glory. Likes, comments, shares, glares, these are the things their hearts desire. I fantasize about a world where size doesn't matter. A world where I can express myself in front of everyone else. A world where I wont feel ashamed to have my own name. Where just being me, I can feel free. Here I am in a world filled with beautiful beings, no one can accept them-self. However, we can all accept everyone else. Complex; I know, the apprehension society gives off has a dusty glow, if we try to survive, our scars may show, so we must keep secrets for no one to know. These days fairy-tales are way too far away, & we all have the subconscious in us that stays, & so we pray that we can finally get up & say that, "Yes we're different, different is okay". Maybe one day. We can all get along & skip singing some lame song; without a care, we're all there, no judgement no fear, just so much love to bear. Oh my if that world exist; it would be such bliss. I know I will never change the whole world by watching as it burns along with these innocent Earthlings, I will not! I may look weak, but I am mighty. I take a stand for every person in this world who serves to not be branded with a label fit by societys fables. I am here to make a difference. If I didn't, who else would. Should we all just stay misunderstood? I'll be as caring as I can & try my best to understand every living being, more of that, we should be seeing. I semi-hate this world, I know you somewhat do too. Just remember one thing, for things to ever get better, the change, begins with you.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
