This summer, I took on a job that is a summer job staple to many college students, being a camp counselor. After working camp for a few weeks, it is safe for me to assume that being a camp counselor is tiring as hell, but it also has its benefits. Not only do you get weekends off, but there are plenty of chances to feel like a kid again. So, here I present to you the typical week of a summer camp counselor. And what better way to do that than with the reality show that is filled with memes, Project Runway?
Monday
8:00 am: "Oh wow, it's the start of a new week. I'm really tired this morning, but I can't wait to meet my campers!"
Tuesday
10:00 am: "Some of these kids are not listening to me, but it's okay. I'm going to keep my cool for the time being. Maybe it was just a bad morning."
3:00 pm: "Okay, so there are two problem children that we need to keep an eye on the rest of the week. I hope they sort themselves out when we go on our field trip tomorrow."
Wednesday
9:00 am: "We told parents their kids needed to be here by now in order to get on the bus on time. Why isn't little Timmy here yet?"
12:00 pm: "I really need a break from these kids. Three campers have almost gotten lost already and they are still not listening to me. What am I doing wrong?"
3:00 pm: "Can the week be over already? I am exhausted."
Thursday
3:00 pm: "Oh, so Ryan decides now is the right time to start being bad? I thought he was one of the good ones!"
Friday
8:00 am: "Thank goodness it's Friday. I don't think my voice can take any more yelling."
11:00 am: "Awwww, they drew me a picture. That's actually really cute."
3:00 pm: "I think I'm actually going to miss them. Wait, don't cry. You can pull yourself together."
